Job Duties:
- Attending to mails and phone calls pertaining to gate matters.
- Nomination of containers for releasing in ibox
- Monitoring of uncollected or expired booking
- Updating of remarks in IBOX gate in notes for containers with specific request prior to gate in.
- Creation of storing order in IBOX and portnet when haulier is unable to process smart booking.
- Compilations of OOCL precool/preset bookings for depot IC to plan for next day collection.
- Verifying with Container operators for any discrepancy in local collection request, using Customer system and ibox to check for discrepancy in local booking request.
- Attending to exceptions such as haulier rejection of container, processing exchange of containers, liaising with HSD team to facilitate gate out of exchange container.
- Attending to hauliers returning containers to wrong terminal, liaising with HSD team to process gate out.
- Tagging of Containers for depot service upon request from Customer.
- Monitoring of customers inventory under his responsibility and processing shipment upon request from Customer.
- Liaising with Customer’s MNR for approval of containers.
Requirements:
- ‘O’ Level or NITEC. Other disciplines with experience in logistics operations management preferable in 3rd party logistics, distribution or manufacturing environment will also be considered
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication skills
- Willing to work on a 5.5 days work schedule
