The position is responsible for managing general claims insurance and staff benefits insurance. You may be required to be crossed train on captive insurance claims and render support as required.
Your responsibilities will include:-
- Handle and manage general insurance and staff benefits claims.
- Manage and ensure accurate and prompt claims processing within stipulated turnaround timeline.
- Review and check that the claim amount payable is computed based on policy cover and payment made in accordance to management guidelines.
- Manage enquiries in relations to claims and payment status from employees.
- Communicate effectively with employees, brokers and insurers and related parties, in the course of claims administration.
- Prepare claims statistics and reports required.
- Assist the manager in the procurement and renewal of insurance policies, including review and recommend selection of brokers, insurers and other service providers.
- Undertake projects and initiatives as assigned and perform other duties determined by the organisation.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in any discipline
- Min 1 years of relevant work experience in handling staff related in general claims and other classes of insurance-related claims
- Meticulous, organised and systematic
