Key Daily Operations of IP team:
• Monitoring inventory balances and usage patterns of spare parts
• Planning for the demand and supply of spare parts
• Optimizing inventory levels to balance cost, space, and availability
Our Mission:
The IP team aims to minimize inventory holding value while ensuring high service levels and inventory availability for the Engineering department. We leverage data analytics to gain insights into inventory management by analyzing parameters like movement, commodity type, age, turnover rate, and supported equipment fleet. These insights guide our purchasing and disposal decisions, helping us reduce inventory holding value through tailored purchase strategies.
As an Intern, you will:
• Immerse yourself in the IP team's various work processes to understand the different nature of stock items and develop relationships among these parameters.
• Propose innovative solutions to automate tasks, enhance productivity, and streamline workflows.
• Develop data-driven solutions to support and improve decision-making. Formulate purchase strategies to reduce inventory holding value, focusing on:
>> Demand planning and forecast
>> Supply planning and forecast (purchase cycle, frequency, quantity, etc.)
>> Stock holding levels

Requirements:
• Currently pursuing a Degree
• Able to commit to a full-time internship for 6 months
• Programming language: Python & SQL
• Data analytics (with experience in large volume data processing within data platform)
• Robotic Process Automation: UiPath, MS Power Automate, MS Power Apps
• Data processing & visualization: MS Excel & Power BI
• Microsoft 365 tools: SharePoint, MS Form, Excel, Power BI, Power Automate & Power Apps
